Explore the beauty, magic, and mystery of Yoga through the teachings handed down to me

by legendary yoga master, Tao Porchon Lynch

with Renee Diamond

The legacy of my teacher, legendary yoga master, Tao Porchon Lynch shall continue. Carrying on the tradition of bringing education to those who love yoga and want to learn more, we will dig deep  into yoga philosophy and history and learn how ancient practices serve our modern lives.

Gain a deeper understanding of the asanas, learn the physical anatomy of the body, muscles, bones and connective tissue, and the spiritual anatomy in a study of the chakras and the mind, body, and spirit connection. Learn, breathing practices and meditation.

What is it to be a yogi? Embark upon a study of morals and ethical conduct, right speech, and right action as exemplified by Tao lifelong.  The teachings of  her teachers, Mahatma Gandhi,  BKS Iyengar and Indra Devi will be studied and discussed, as we explore how to navigate a world in turmoil, a planet in distress and do the right thing personally and globally.

This course is based in The Eight Limbs of Yoga as established in Patanjali's Yoga sutra. The Eight Fold path offers guidelines for a meaningful and purposeful life.

This course will also offer experiences beyond the classical and relevantly tie into how we live and enjoy our lives today. There will be music to explore, movement of all types, sweaty practices and deep soulful ones,  "Aha" moments, acceptance, joy and new discoveries in your "one wild and precious life". (quote is from a a poem by Mary Oliver)
